United Way of the Greater Dayton Area has strict state and federal guidelines we must follow, not to mention our own By-Laws, Code of Ethics, and Core Values.
Community Volunteers review all grant proposals and applications. All funded programs and services, as well collective impact projects are monitored for effectiveness. Funding decisions are based on the performance and impact these programs have on community needs. We ensure all of your money is being used wisely throughout the Miami Valley.
Our legal title is United Way of the Greater Dayton Area, TAX ID #31-0536658. As a non-profit any gifts are tax deductible. We honor donor choice and allow designations as well as non-discretionary funding. The IRS allows many methods of giving.
