Join Hands Miami Valley
A Partnership for Make a Difference Day

Join Hands Miami Valley, a partnership for Make a Difference Day, brought together hundreds of volunteers throughout the Greater Dayton Area on October 24 and October 25 of 2008. These volunteers tackled a variety of community service projects sponsored by local nonprofit organizations, government agencies, faith-based collaboratives and more.

This event served as the Miami Valley's celebration of Make a Difference Day, a national day of engaging members of the community in volunteer and service efforts.  In 2008, the collaborative efforts were recognized at the annual Forging New Links Conference where present partners were awarded with one of 10 state-wide "Outstanding Project" awards.  Congratulations team!

2008 Partners include Cedarville University, Chaminade-Julienne High School, Five Rivers MetroParks, Sinclair Community College, Spring Valley Academy, United Way's Volunteer Connection, University of Dayton, and Wright State University.  Special thanks for our partners who make this collaboration a possibility!
