United Way's Day of Action (formerly Community Care Day)  takes place in June. This event is an annual day of volunteerism mobilizing hundreds of local volunteers to complete community service projects throughout Montgomery, Greene and Preble Counties. 

Our volunteers are individuals and groups from local companies, organizations and the community.  All ages, including youth and adults, are welcome to participate as volunteers in this event.  

The 2011 event was held on both Thursday, June 9th and Friday, June 10th.  More than 600 individuals signed up to work at more than 50 projects throughout Montgomery, Greene and Preble Counties.  Click on the image to the right to see photos of the days' activities.
