Walk, Bike and Celebrate Our Community!

April 16, 2007, Preble County, Ohio - Henny Penny and the Preble County Farm Bureau are teaming up once more for the second annual Buckeye Bridge Ride and Henny Penny 5K Run/Walk.  On Saturday, June 27, 2009, bike riders will take a scenic tour of Preble County's seven covered bridges and runners will race through the historic Fort St. Clair, all while raising money for United Way of the Greater Dayton Area's Preble County Office.

The Henny Penny 5K Run/Walk is celebrating it's fourth year and will begin promptly at 8:00 am in the morning, giving runners a chance to participate in the Bridge Ride as well.  Now in it's sixth year, the Buckeye Bridge Ride offers cyclists four different routes ranging from 15 to 75 miles and will give participants the chance to visit Preble County's Covered Bridges up close and personal.

Please note that there will be no rain date, so participants are asked to dress appropriately. For more information, click here to download the brochure or visit www.buckeyebridgebikeride.com.
