Ohio Volunteer Center Association (OVCA) provides a network of support for information exchange and professional development of HandsOn Action Center and volunteer center leadership in order to strengthen and increase the growth of volunteerism in Ohio.
OVCA membership consists of organizations that provide the following services:

1. Connecting people with opportunities to serve by doing centralized recruitment and referral of volunteers.
2. Building capacity for effective volunteering.
3. Promoting volunteering.
4. Participating in strategic initiatives to mobilize volunteers to address community needs.

Many OVCA members are affiliates of HandsOn Network.  HandsOn Network inspires, equips and mobilizes people to take action that changes the world.  At the center of the network are over 260 affiliates, called HandsOn Action Centers, that serve 83% of the American population and located 12 international communities.
